VR Games Showcase Announces ‘XR Indies & Friends’ Livestream Ahead of Meta Connect Next Week
The organizers of last month's VR Games Showcase have announced a new livestreamed event, the XR Indies & Friends Showcase, set to take place on September 25th at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET. This event will spotlight independent game developers and studios of all sizes, featuring new reveals and announcements. Confirmed highlights include more information on games like Innerspace VR’s "One True Path," Cybron’s "Wall Town Wonders," a new trailer for the VR adaptation of Ovid Works' "Metamorphosis," and new gameplay from Just Add Water's "DIG VR."
Zeena Al-Obaidi, Chief Creative Officer of The VR Showcase, emphasized that the event aims to provide a platform for diverse and innovative indie games. The XR Indies & Friends Showcase will be available to watch on the VR Showcase YouTube channel at the scheduled time. This event comes just ahead of the Meta Connect keynote by CEO Mark Zuckerberg, which is expected to reveal the Quest 3S standalone headset and other announcements.
