Varjo Signs “multi-million dollar” Deal to Provide Headsets for Army Training Systems

Varjo has announced that it has closed a multi-million dollar deal to supply its XR-3 Focal Edition headsets for the U.S. Army's Reconfigurable Virtual Collective Air Trainer (RVCT-A) initiative. The RVCT-A aims to provide virtual training modules for helicopter pilots at a cheaper cost and increased accessibility. The deal, which is part of a $500 million contract with Cole Engineering, will see Varjo supplying an estimated 300 headsets. Varjo's high-quality headsets, including their signature bionic display, will allow for a mix of real and virtual imagery, making training more realistic for pilots.
