This Mod Lets You Play ‘Star Wars Outlaws’ in VR

Serial modder Luke Ross has unveiled a new VR mod for the PC version of Star Wars Outlaws (2024). Released on August 30th, this mod allows players to immerse themselves in the game using VR, although it is optimized for gamepad use and third-person play. You can still enjoy some impressive first-person views by adjusting the camera. To see the mod in action, check out YouTuber 'Lord Beardsteak' exploring Tatooine's expansive open-world settings.

Star Wars Outlaws is Ubisoft's first open-world Star Wars game, set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Players experience the adventures of Kay Vess, navigating a galaxy rich with crime syndicates.

To access this and other mods by Luke Ross, you need to join his Patreon at a starting cost of $10 per month. The process mostly involves a simple drag-and-drop installation, but be aware that a powerful PC is recommended.

Luke Ross has previously added VR support to games like Horizon Forbidden West, Elden Ring, Cyberpunk 2077, and several Rockstar Games titles, though some Rockstar mods have been removed from his Patreon due to a dispute but remain available on GitHub.
