Apple's iPhone 16 models will enable hundreds of millions of users to capture spatial photos and videos, a feature previously available only on specific devices. Spatial video, Apple's term for stereoscopic 3D video using the HEVC Stereo Video Profile format, is currently limited to iPhone 15 Pro models and the Apple Vision Pro. However, it will become a standard feature across all iPhone 16 models. Additionally, iPhone 16 Pro models will feature Spatial Audio Recording, which provides directional audio in spatial videos when viewed using Vision Pro.
