The Full Body Avatars Beta in Rec Room is Now Open to All Players - UploadVR

Rec Room's optional full body avatars are now available to all players in beta, offering an alternative to the current avatars that include only a head, torso, and hands. Initially limited to level 50 players from March, these new avatars enhance immersion but still lack body tracking support, unlike competitor VRChat and Meta's Horizon Worlds. Rec Room is working on body tracking compatibility for SteamVR and possibly Quest 3's inside-out upper body tracking via Virtual Desktop, though no specific timeline has been given.
