Sky Runner Introduces Drone Course Editor for Quest 3 Pilots - UploadVR

Sky Runner is the updated name for a game initially known as Bomber Drone, which gained attention for its innovative use of the Quest 3’s spatial mesh in gameplay. Last month, we highlighted Bomber Drone’s App Lab release and its room-mapping features. Since then, the developers have been releasing updates to improve the game, now rebranded as Sky Runner, and introduce new features like a track editor.

Sky Runner builds on Bomber Drone’s gameplay by using Quest 3’s room mapping to turn living spaces into dynamic environments for missions, including battle scenes and rescue operations. The game initially offered a limited variety of mission types, but Sky Runner expands on this by adding more diverse scenarios to keep the gameplay exciting. While the ability to play outdoors is still missing, the original, more strategic missions remain intact, and the new editor allows for the creation of custom tracks.
