Progressive metal band Tesseract has released an early access SteamVR sci-fi adventure called War of Being. The game, developed by a three-person team, is based on Tesseract's upcoming album of the same name and explores its concepts. Players will enter The Strangeland, encountering mysterious characters, solving puzzles, and unlocking new music. The current version of the game includes six maps, with plans for more levels, gameplay elements, and the integration of the entire album. Tesseract also intends to crowdfund the development through Kickstarter. War of Being is available on Steam Early Access for $6 (£4.99) with a full release targeted for late 2024.
