‘NFL PRO ERA’ Re-launches as a Live Service Game on Quest with New Linebacker DLC - Road to VR

NFL PRO ERA, the NFL football VR game series, has relaunched as a live service game on Quest. Previous owners of NFL PRO ERA (2022) and NFL PRO ERA II (2023) on Quest will receive the new version for free. The relaunch includes the '2025 Edition: Defense' add-on, featuring the linebacker position, available at a discount.

The base game, priced at $40 for new users, offers free play, full season mode, exhibition mode, updated rosters, and uniforms, along with a new Social Sports Complex hub and smarter AI. The '2025 Edition' further expands gameplay to include full head-to-head multiplayer. Notably, this update is exclusive to Quest and is currently not available on SteamVR, PSVR 2, or Pico headsets.
