Unicorn AR Startup Magic Leap is Killing Its First Headset Next Year
The AR headset that attracted over three billion dollars in funding for startup Magic Leap will no longer be supported after December 31, 2024. The cloud services for Magic Leap 1 will be shut off on that date, rendering the device defunct. Developer resources, such as the forum and Discord channel, will also be discontinued on September 29, 2023. The company will only address outages that affect core functionality until the end of 2024.
