Metamorphosis VR: A Kafkaesque Story-Driven Adventure Arrives on Quest - UploadVR

Metamorphosis VR, a narrative adventure platformer inspired by Franz Kafka's novel, is launching next month on the Meta Quest platform. Originally developed as a flatscreen game by Ovid Works and Untold Tales, Metamorphosis is now being brought to VR by Black Sun Productions. Set in 1900s Vienna, you play as Gregor, a traveling salesman transformed into a cockroach, who must use his new abilities to save a friend and regain his humanity. The game features a unique narrative, bug philosophers, insect mob bosses, and over 100 insect characters, with multiple endings based on your choices. Corbin Chase, CEO of Black Sun Productions, highlights VR's power to change perspective as a key aspect of the game's design. Metamorphosis VR will be available on October 10.
