Meta to Dissolve App Lab Next Month, Putting More Steam Behind Early Access Program
Meta's App Lab for early access games is still available but will be dissolved next month. The company recently improved App Lab visibility by making its content searchable in the main store. Starting August 5th, all former App Lab content will move to the main Horizon Store, which will include all current apps under development or review. Developers can now use 'Early Access' badges for their games, though it’s not mandatory. Full transfer of App Lab content will necessitate meeting various Virtual Reality Checks (VRCs).
