LIV Can Now Capture Standalone On Quest, And Gorilla Tag Will Support It
LIV has launched a Unity SDK that enables third-person footage capture for VR on the Quest. Following Meta's discontinuation of its own capture tools, LIV is now the official mixed reality capture tool for Quest, with plans for standalone operation without a PC. The LIV Creator Kit allows developers and creators to capture third-person or widescreen first-person footage directly on Quest or PC VR. Gorilla Tag is the first major game to integrate this tool, with more titles expected to follow.
