‘Into the Radius 2’ Releases in Early Access on PC VR Today, Including Two-Player Co-op
CM Games, the developer behind the single-player survival shooter Into the Radius (2020), has launched its sequel, Into the Radius 2, via Steam Early Access today. Like its predecessor, this VR survival shooter immerses players in a surreal landscape filled with deadly anomalies. The sequel introduces both single-player and two-player co-op modes, with plans for four-player co-op in the future. Players can expect realistic weapons, a sophisticated loot-management system, and expansive exploration within the perilous Pechorsk Security Zone.
While Into the Radius 2 retains many beloved features of the original, CM Games cautions that the current Early Access version will not match the content depth of the fully updated original game immediately. The initial release includes a tutorial area, a main gameplay region, and a revamped Explorer Base, but it will lack the complete narrative and several functional elements seen in its predecessor. The studio emphasizes the importance of player feedback to guide future updates.
