Meta Avatars Graphics Overhaul Being Tested Internally
Meta is currently testing a significant graphics overhaul for its Meta Avatars, as observed by VR enthusiast Luna. Some Meta employees' Horizon profiles already showcase this new avatar style, distinct from the current versions. Initially announced by Mark Zuckerberg at Meta Connect 2022, the overhaul was slated for a 2023 release but has yet to materialize. Notably, Meta Avatars received legs last year for Horizon Home and Horizon Worlds, although third-party apps have yet to integrate animated legs.
