How Project Demigod Went From Early Access VR Superhero Sim To Full Release
Project Demigod, a VR superhero sim developed mainly by Cory Robertson, has entered its full release today on Quest and PC VR. The game has undergone steady progress since its initial launch in October 2021 and has reached 100k sales across Quest App Lab and Steam Early Access. Robertson explains that the game began as his vision during his time at Columbia University and has since faced numerous challenges as a solo developer. Project Demigod offers a sandbox experience with a focus on superhero powers and a larger world compared to similar games like Blade & Sorcery. While the game is currently only a sandbox, there are plans to potentially add a solo campaign with a storyline and progression in the future. The full release marks a significant milestone for the game, but there are still many ideas and updates Robertson wants to implement. Future updates may include giant-sized enemies and the ability to switch between day and night in the game. For the full story, visit the source, UploadVR.
