Microsoft Previews Azure Remote Rendering Support On Quest 2 & Pro
Microsoft and Meta are partnering to bring Azure Remote Rendering to Quest 2 and Quest Pro devices. The service uses Azure's computing power to render complex models in the cloud and then streams them to the devices in real-time. Passthrough support is also included. The partnership was announced at Connect 2022, where it was revealed that Quest devices will support Microsoft Intune and Azure Active Directory.
