Vision Pro Currently Only Has Around 200 Native Apps Ready for Launch

On the launch day of Apple's Vision Pro mixed reality headset, there will be a large number of apps available, including over one million iOS and iPad apps in compatibility mode. However, only around 200 native apps will be available initially. Apple has pre-installed several VisionOS apps on the headset, such as App Store, Keynote, Mail, Safari, and more. Despite claims of access to 150 3D movies, the headset will not have apps for YouTube, Spotify, and Netflix. The number of apps on launch day is estimated to be between 250 and 400, with many coming from independent developers. Appfigures provided a list of 196 third-party native apps, the majority of which are free or optimized versions of 2D apps. The full list can be found at Road to VR.
