Apple Vision Pro Introduces New Lake Vrangla Virtual Environment - UploadVR

Apple Vision Pro has added a new virtual environment named Lake Vrangla, transporting users to the misty shores of a Norwegian lake. This setting adds a darker, slightly eerie ambiance compared to the existing Lakeside environment. Users can find Lake Vrangla ready for download in the Environments tab on all Vision Pro headsets without needing a visionOS update.

VisionOS environments function similarly to desktop backgrounds on a Mac, providing a backdrop for apps in the visionOS Shared Space. Users can switch between different environments and passthrough options using the Vision Pro's Digital Crown. These environments feature high-quality, photogrammetric details that often achieve photorealism, with realistic shadows from windows and 3D objects.

Since its launch, Vision Pro has offered six virtual environments including Haleakalā, Yosemite National Park, Joshua Tree National Park, Mount Hood, White Sands National Park, and the Moon's surface. VisionOS 2 beta users also have access to a tropical beach environment called Bora Bora. With Lake Vrangla's release, visionOS 1 users now have seven environments, while visionOS 2 beta users have eight.
